Cosmonotus genkaiae

Carapace surface ornamented with longish hairy depressions and ridges resulting in a squamose appearance; median ridge weak; V-shaped median incision of front with a minute median process. Eyestalks relatively stout. Lower border of cheliped palm fringed with a single long row of hairs. Fifth pereiopod with a very low and sparsely pilose carpal crest. Anterior process of thoracic sternum subtriangular. (Türkay 1995)
