Genus Nanosesarma

Tweedie, 1950

Small size. Carapace and appendages densely covered by hairs. Side walls of carapace and pterygostomial region finely reticulated with intercrossing hairy lines. Antero-lateral margins with a marked tooth behind the exorbital angles. Basal antennal article included in the orbit. Chelipeds: outer surface of palm entirely covered with hairs concealing lines of granules; dactyli with upper border smooth or ornamented by a row of numerous, more than fifty, very fine striae. Ambulatory legs: P2 and P5 with the merus armed by short denticles on distal posterior border. Male abdomen with the telson elongated. (Guinot 1998)
