Genus Cymo

Carapace about as broad as long, subcircular or elongate-pentagonal, and not, or little, convex. Regions faintly or not at all defined. Front bilobed, with the outer angle of each lobe prominent and separated from the supraorbital margin by a notch and groove. Basal antennal article with its outer angle produced into the orbital hiatus; flagellum short, situated between this process and the front. Chelipeds unequal and dissimilar in both sexes; large cheliped long and more than twice as massive as the small cheliped; fingers of the large cheliped short, blunt pointed, hollowed at tip; fingers of the small cheliped long and slender.
