Carapace subcircular in outline. Margins not expanded. Infraorbital lobe prominent and acuminate. Anterior boundary of pterygostomial region cut into two acuminate teeth, each divided by narrow notches. Buccal cavern narrowly triangular. Third maxillipeds: merus longer than half the length of ischium; exopodite not broadened, with outer margin not arched. Chelipeds: palm subcylindrical; fingers slender or rather filiform.
