Carapace elliptical, much longer than broad, surface smooth and polished, regions undefined; fronto-orbital border less than half the greatest width of carapace; three fronto-orbital spines; antero-lateral borders without teeth; rostral tooth wider at base than long. Eye peduncle one segmented, folding longitudinally. Posterior margin of propodus of fourth pereiopod armed with a spine. (Türkay 1995)
