Cryptodromia tumida trispinosa

Carapace smooth, significantly wider than long, antero-lateral borders armed with three equal teeth, lateral cardiac grooves not marked. Rostrum bluntly tridentate, lateral teeth more prominent than median one. No epipod on cheliped. Outer face of cheliped palm marked with some lines of small granules. Distal margins of carpi and propodi of second and third pereiopods lobed. Abdominal segments without distinct tubercles, posterior margin of male abdomen telson with a median tooth in the concavity. Type locality: Kii Tatsugahama, Arita, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan.
Range: Japan - Kii Tatsugahama and coast of Wakayama (Sakai, 1936c), Hachijo-jima (Sakai, 1954), Kii Tatsugahama and Kii Minabe (Sakai, 1976a), Tanega-shima (Takeda, 1976b), Kushimoto (Miyake, 1983).
