Pseudopalicus serripes

(Alcock & Anderson, 1894)

Dorsal surface of carapace entirely ornamented with coarse granules; frontal teeth subequal; antero-lateral borders armed with five teeth, of these the exorbital one is the largest, the second smaller, the following ones are only smaller spinules; the four frontal teeth are of subequal size; posterior border with twelve small lobes. Chelipeds homochelous, chelae only sparsely granulate. Posterior borders of carpi and propodi of second to fourth pereiopods serrate. (Türkay 1995)

Type locality: Madras coast, India.
Range: India - Madras coast (Alcock & Anderson, 1894b, Alcock, 1900b); Sri Lanka (Alcock, 1900b); Japan - between Ito and Hatsushima, west of Sagami Bay (Sakai, 1935, 1939, 1976), Shiono-misaki (Takeda, 1979a); Torres Straits (Calman, 1900).
