Dorsal surface of carapace with region 2M incompletely divided longitudinally; surface of carapace distinctly rugose; antero-lateral teeth subangular but shallow; region 1M separated from 2F as well as from 2M; external face of cheliped palm granular and furnished with three longitudinal rows of larger granules; ambulatory legs nodular, short and broad, merus of P5 less than 3 times longer than broad.
