Intercalated spine not excluded from outer rim of supraorbital margin; third maxillipeds not elevated at junction of ischium and merus; carapace dorsal surface with closely spaced tubercles or spinules; rostral spines more than half postrostral carapace length; postorbital spine prominent, acuminate; chela sometimes with nodules.
