Simocarcinus longirostris

Lenz, 1910

The carapace is elongate isosceles triangle in outline, the dorsal surface is depressed. There are three low tubercles on the gastric region and an obscure one on the cardiac; otherwise the dorsal surface is smooth.
The rostrum is very long and slender, its length just one and a half times as long as the proper length of carapace, and its tip trifid. It is projecting forward and obliquely upward at an angle of about 15° against the surface of carapace.
The lateral borders of carapace are unarmed, however, the postero-lateral angles are marked with an acuminate tooth. The posterior border is marked with a small tooth on each side. (Sakai, 1976: 211)
