Carapace with regions well defined; cardiac region with a short spine on summit; hepatic and postorbital lobes distinct; antorbital angle of eave not produced; branchial submargin with tubercles but without a flat plate; rostral spines divergent or weakly divergent, 0.3-0.5 postrostral carapace length; hepatic spine smaller than or subequal to branchial spine; branchial region without antero-medial tubercles. Type locality: Ose-zaki, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan.
Range: Japan - Ose-zaki, Nagasaki (Rathbun, 1932), Oga Peninsula, Kii Peninsula, Ose-zakai, and Tsushima (Sakai, 1976a).
