Carapace surface smooth between the spines; protogastric spines shorter than anterior branchial ones, two gastric spines in a longitudinal row, the last one of which is emerging from a hump, two cardiac spines, both emerging from humps, intestinal region unarmed; supraorbital eave unarmed; rostral spines quite short but longer than interantennular one; lateral margin of pterygostomial region with three long spines and long hairs, surface smooth. Antennal peduncle cylindrical, basal article with three long subequal spines. (Türkay 1995)
