Achaeus tuberculatus

Carapace surface smooth, regions rather well demarcated, postorbital region very short; hepatic region moderately produced and broad; supraocular eave very finely spinulated; rostral lobes moderately broad at base, well separated from base, distally subacute. Eyestalk smooth. Basal antennal article with tubercles but without spines or spinules. Chelipeds heavy and swollen, merus especially so; palm much swollen on outer face; fingers compressed and as long as palm, slightly incurved near tip. Dactyl of second ambulatory leg tapering distally, those of posterior legs not falcate. First male pleopod flattened and spatulated at the tip. (Türkay 1995)
