Carapace broadly pentagonal with thick layer of pubescence; hunched anteriorly; dorsal surface without tuberculations; regions poorly defined. Rostral lobes short, broad, faintly emarginate. Male chela inflated, bulbous, with pattern of numerous small patches on inner surface.
Fingers with discontinuous, unevenly toothed cutting edges; dactylus with one large posteriorly-directed medial tooth, pollex with matching notch and a small proximal tooth near insertions of dactylus G1 long, broad basally, tapered, slender distally; apical tip with hood-like structure surrounding a simple, distinct, rounded aperture.
