Cryptodromia coronata

Stimpson, 1858

Carapace minutely granular, significantly wider than long, very convex; antero-lateral borders armed with two blunt teeth with elongated posterior margins; frontal, branchial and lateral cardiac grooves well marked. Rostrum bluntly tridentate, lateral rostral teeth more prominent than median tooth. No epipod on cheliped. Chelipeds generally tuberculated, but palm with only a few prominent tubercles. Distal margins of carpi and propodi of second and third pereiopods lobed. Third and fourth abdominal segments armed with four tubercles. (Türkay 1995)
