Dromidiopsis lethrinusae

(Takeda & Kurata, 1976)

Carapace approximately as long as wide, antero-lateral margins may be undentate or bear one tooth, branchial grooves usually well developed. Rostral teeth very small, median tooth strongly deflexed and not visible dorsally. Outer surface of palm of chelipeds convex, superior margin may have a few denticles. Inner margins of dactyli of second and third pereiopods armed with two spines, no spines on outer propodal margin of fourth pereiopod, dactyl of fifth pereiopod opposed by a single spine. Last two segments of abdomen partially fused. (Türkay 1995)

Type locality: Ogasawara-shoto, Japan.
Range: Japan - Ogasawara-shoto (Takeda & Kurata, 1976a); Philippines - Cebu (McLay, 1993); Chesterfield Islands (McLay, 1993); shallow water.
