Stimdromia lateralis

(Gray, 1831)

Carapace not strongly convex, significantly wider than long; antero-lateral borders armed with two prominent teeth. Rostrum tridentate, lateral frontal teeth pointed, clearly overreaching median one; lateral frontal teeth united at base with preorbital tooth, forming an eave. Inner surface of palm of male cheliped entirely covered by dense pubescence, outer surface smooth. Second and third pereiopods with some tubercles, especially near the joints, ridges on carpi and propodi poorly developed, dactyli not strongly curved at tips. (Türkay 1995)
