Genus Camptandrium

Stimpson, 1858

Carapace hexagonal rather than transversely quadrangular, surface flat, uneven, with elevations that may form ridges; antero-lateral borders with 2 or 3 teeth, posteriormost reaching sideways. Chelipeds homochelous, with clear sexual dimorphism; male chela with single tooth on cutting edge of dactylus, no one on immovable finger; female chelae without any teeth on fingers. Meri of second to fifth pereiopods without spines. Abdomen of male with second to fifth segments fused, constricted at level of fifth segment so that the gonopods are partly visible when abdomen is pressed against thorax; first segment only slightly wider than second and not nearly reaching the coxae of fifth pereiopods. Male first pleopod with tip ending in two long slender appendices, which are longer than distal recurved part of stem. (Türkay 1995)
