Carapace rectangular, longer than broad, widest at midlength, not deflected anteriorly, with broad shallow W-shaped depression, mesogastric region slightly inflated; pterygostomial region fused to carapace. Third maxilliped with exopod, merus with distolateral projection. Anterior extension of sternite of first pereiopod with few granules, sternite of fourth pereiopods with suture. Cutting edge of dactylus of chela entire. Merus of second pereiopod lacking distomesial projection; coxae of fourth pereiopods with reduced anterior lobes. (Türkay 1995)
