Carapace rectangular, longer than broad, widest anterior to midlength, not deflected anteriorly, with broad inverted U-shaped depression, mesogastric region slightly inflated; pterygostomial region fused to carapace. Third maxilliped with exopod, merus with distolateral projection. Anterior extension of sternite of first pereiopod with few granules, sternite of fourth pereiopods with suture. Cutting edge of dactylus of chela entire. Merus of second pereiopod lacking distomesial projection; coxae of third and fourth pereiopods with well-developed anterior lobes. (Türkay 1995)
