Carapace rectangular, longer than broad, widest at midlength, not deflected anteriorly, with broadly W-shaped depression, mesogastric region slightly inflated; pterygostomial region not fused to carapace. Third maxilliped with exopod, merus with distolateral projection. Anterior extension of sternite of first pereiopod smooth or with fine granules, sternite of fourth pereiopods with suture. Cutting edge of dactylus with low tooth. Merus of second pereiopod without distomesial projection; coxa of third pereiopod with poorly developed and that of fourth pereiopod with well developed anterior lobe. (Türkay 1995)
