Antero-lateral margins having, behind the the exorbital angles, four teeth incipient and indicated by an undulation of the margin. Male chelipeds very unequal and dissimilar; small cheliped with the merus, carpus, propodus and dactylus narrower and much longer than those of the larger cheliped. Fingers of the larger cheliped with pointed extremities; of the smaller cheliped with rounded and hollowed extremities. (Guinot 1998)
