Genus Oregonia

Carapace subtriangular or suboblong. Dorsal surface moderately convex and tuberculate. Rostral spines slender. A large postorbital spine remote from the eye, affording no concealment; no preorbital spine. Antennae visible in dorsal view; basal article narrow. Merus of third maxillipeds distally truncate, bearing the palp at its antero-internal angle. Chelipeds much elongated, somewhat enlarged; palm long, compressed, distally widened. Ambulatory legs slender, decreasing regularly in length. Male abdomen with all segments distinct. (Guinot 1998)
