Genus Grypachaeus

Alcock, 1895

Carapace narrowly pyriform, surface with erect spines; rostrum composed of two slender spines; interantennular partition well developed and bearing a spine at its apex ventrally. Basal antennal article free, reaching not further than half diametre of eyestalk, of similar shape like the second and third peduncle segments. Fourth pair of ambulatory legs with toothed ventral edge of dactyl folding back against ventral edge of propodus. First male pleopod with large subterminal aperture. (Türkay 1995)
