Carapace oblong, posteriorly armed with a strong median and a small lateral process. Anterior extremity of pterygostomial region cut into three teeth. Buccal cavern narrowly triangular. Third maxillipeds: merus longer than half the length of ischium; exopodite not broadened, with outer margin not arched. Chelipeds slender and very long, more than twice the total length of carapace.
