Infraorbital ridge with 2-3 small teeth followed by 2 large tubercles separated from 3 smaller, decreasing in size, and thereafter 3 much smaller tubercles. Four lateral teeth behind exorbital angle. Pereiopods 2-5 without subdistal spine on upper border of merus. (Davie 1997)
Type locality: river mouth, Tan-shui, Taiwan.
Range: China - Guangdong and Fujian (Dai & Yang, 1991), Hong Kong (Davie, 1992); Taiwan - Tan-shui (Sakai, 1939, 1976, Lin, 1949).
