Male cheliped with 19-20 smooth, symmetrical, dactylar tubercles; upper border of palm with 3 pectinated crests; inner face of palm with a transverse vertical line of about 10 granules. Meri of pereiopods 2-5 relatively slender; clearly more than twice as long as broad; fourth pereiopod with merus 2.3 times as long as broad. (Davie 1997)
Type locality: Tsimei, Fujian Province, China.
Range: China - Tsimei, Fujian Province (Shen, 1940b), Fujian, Zhejiang and Kiaochow Bay (Dai & Yang, 1991); Taiwan.
