Monotypic, thus generic diagnosis repeated: Carapace quadrate, as long as broad, widest at midlength, not deflected anteriorly, without depressions, mesogastric region not inflated; pterygostomial region fused to carapace. Third maxilliped with exopod, merus without distolateral projection. Sternite of first pereiopod smooth, sternite of fourth pereiopod without suture. Cutting edge of dactylus of chela with or without a proximal tooth. Merus of second pereiopod lacking distomesial projection; coxae of third and fourth pereiopods without anterior lobes.
