Pseudopalicus amadaibai

(Sakai, 1963)

Regions of carapace fairly well defined, each best with tubercles of various sizes, the largest ones covered with tiny granules; frontal teeth subequal; antero-lateral borders armed with five teeth, of these the exorbital one is the largest, the second smaller, the following ones are only very small spinules; the four frontal teeth are of subequal size; posterior border with six feeble lobes. Chelipeds heterochelous, upper border of chelae granulate. Posterior borders of carpi and propodi of second to fourth pereiopods entire. (Türkay 1995)

Type locality: Amadaiba, off Hayama, Sagami Bay, Japan, 65-85 m.
Range: Japan - south-west of Inubo-zaki, Suruga Bay and south-west of Goto-retto (Yokoya, 1933), Sagami Bay (Balss, 1922c), Sagami Bay and Tosa Bay (Sakai, 1963), Sagami Bay, Mikawa Bay and Tosa Bay (Sakai, 1965b, 1976); East China Sea (Takeda & Miyake, 1969d); Philippines - north of Lubang Island (Serène & Vadon, 1981).
