Pilodius miersi

Regions of carapace well defined, 2M divided into two longitudinally, 3M tri-partite, anterior lobe surpassing anterior margin of 2M. Areoles with rounded granules, minutely setose. 1P uniformly granulate; two parallel transverse rows of adjoining pearliform granules on 2P, anterior row medially disjunct. Submedian frontal lobes arched, denticulate, denticles diminishing in size laterally, separated by 'U'-shaped emargination, lateral lobes triangular, denticulate. Antero-lateral margin quadridentate, teeth basally tuberculate, apical spine curved. Anterior margin of cheliped merus tuberculate. External surface of cheliped carpus with clustered granules, furrow parallel with palmar joint. External surface of chela with conical tubercles on upper margin, diminishing in size inferiorly, lower margin smooth. Pereiopods setose, merus, carpus with conical tubercles on superior margin.
