The exorbital angle is without a marked tooth. The antero-lateral margins of the carapace have five teeth; the three anterior are sometimes hardly distinct. Of the five antero-lateral teeth the three anterior are feeble, sometimes obliterated or united as a single lobe; the dorsal surface of the carapace is smooth. (Serène, 1984)
