Carapace with granular surface, protogastric spines suberect, almost parallel and clearly longer than the branchial spines, postorbital spines longer than any other spines except protogastrics, cardiac spines short; supraorbital eave unarmed; rostral spines clearly longer than interantennular spine; pterygostomial region quite flat and with a few small granules increasing in size and number laterally to form a marginal ridge. Eyestalk clearly granulate. Antennal peduncle cylindrical, basal article with three long slender spines directed ventrally. (Türkay 1995)
