Pleistacantha cervicornis

Ihle & Ihle-Landenberg, 1931

Carapace surface with a great number of densely set spines and spinules of very different length but not shape; rostral spines long and carrying spinules on all their faces, giving the impression of deer antlers; interantennular spine weakly upcurved, simple, not bifid. Eyestalks slender and spinulous. Basal antennal article armed with two distal spines, article 4 and 5 covered with small spinules. Antero-lateral angle of the merus of the third maxilliped strongly produced into a triangular process about as long as the margin of the merus proper and armed with two or three teeth on each edge. Chelipeds slender, strongly spinous, palm cylindrical, fingers long and slender. Ambulatory legs densely beset with long spines mixed with long and stiff bristles. (Türkay 1995)
