Carapace slightly broader than long, no spine row between shoulder spines, no line of tubercles on branchial region; rostrum narrow and elongate, tip nearly obtuse with only a slight emargination. Merus of second to fourth pereiopods with a row of 8-9 long spines on anterior margin, posterior border and upper surface with minute granules; no obvious pilosity on carpi, propodi and dactyli. Merus of fifth pereiopod with lower border smooth. (Türkay 1995)
