Epigodromia nodosa

(Sakai, 1936)

Carapace significantly wider than long, covered with studded granules and areolate; antero-lateral borders armed with three granulate teeth; all grooves between the areolae distinct. Rostrum tridentate, lateral teeth broadly triangular, median one smaller. Cheliped with an epipod. Cheliped palm distinctly nodulate. So are the following pereiopods. (Türkay 1995)

Type locality: Tateyama Bay, Tokyo Bay, Japan, 100 m.
Range: Japan - Tateyama Bay (Sakai, 1936c), Sagami Bay (Sakai, 1965b), Tokyo Bay and Sagami Bay (Sakai, 1976a), Shiono-misaki (Takeda, 1979a), Tateyama Bay and Kii Minabe (Muraoka, 1998).
