Carapace smooth, antero-lateral crest nearly faded away in adult individuals; fronto-orbital width less than half the maximum breadth of carapace; front slightly indentated. Interantennular septum narrow, epistome ill defined and sunken. Pterygostomial regions naked. Exopodite of third maxilliped without flagellum. Chelipeds homochelous, merus longer than palm. Second to fifth pereiopods naked, dactyli with rows of strong spines. (Türkay 1995)
