Carapace hexagonal, longer than broad, widest anterior to midlength, deflected anteriorly, anterior part with 2 bowl-shaped concavities, mesogastric region inflated; pterygostomial region not fused to carapace. Third maxilliped with exopod, merus with distolateral projection. Anterior extension of sternite of first pereiopod smooth, sternite of fourth pereiopod with suture. Cutting edges of chelae entire. Merus of second pereiopod lacking distomesial projection; coxa of third and fourth pereiopods with moderately developed anterior lobes. (Türkay 1995)
