Carapace subquadrate, as long as broad, widest posterior to midlength, not deflected anteriorly, without depressions, mesogastric region not inflated; pterygostomial region fused to carapace. Third maxilliped with exopod, merus without distolateral projection. Anterior extension of sternite of first pereiopod smooth, sternite of fourth pereiopods lacking suture. Cutting edge of dactylus of chela entire. Merus of second pereiopod without distomesial projection; coxae of third and fourth pereiopods with well-developed anterior lobes. (Türkay 1995)
