Gaillardiellus bocki

(Odhner, 1925)

Entire animal covered with short hairs interspersed with long ones, but the areolation of carapace can be seen in natural condition - 2M is divided by a longitudinal groove in its anterior half, 2L, 3L, 4L, 5L, 6L are all well demarcated and the last named one is again subdivided. Of the four antero-lateral lobes, the posterior three are tooth-shaped.
The outer surface of wrist is areolated, the brown colouration of the immovable finger of male cheliped extends toward the middle of the palm and imperfectly encircles it leaving a narrow space on upper border; the pigment of female cheliped not much intruding the palm. Ambulatory legs are most slender of all the Japanese species of this genus. (T. Sakai, 1939: 483)
