Frontal and antero-lateral margins of carapace neither flattened nor emarginated; antero-lateral margins have two lobes separated by a furrow hardly continued onto branchial region; regions poorly defined, no trace of furrow limiting region 2M, beginning of anterior part of region 3M feebly indicated by prolonged bifurcation of medial frontal furrow; granules investing lateral parts of dorsal surface of carapace comparatively compacted and smaller; chelipeds of male have dactylus length subequal to width of palm; black colouration of fixed finger largely extends backwards onto palm and usually encircles, partly or totally, the subdistal part.
