Genus Scopimera

de Haan, 1833

Carapace relatively narrow and subglobose. Eyestalks not stylophthalmous. Third maxillipeds very large, with a strong, almost hemispherical bulge forward; merus shorter than ischium. Palm of chelipeds slender and gradually tapering. A hairy edged pouch between the bases of the second and third pereiopods. (Türkay 1995)
