Small symbiotic crabs, usually living as commensals. Carapace rounded. Dorsal surface with an elevated median longitudinal ridge; regions not defined. Third maxillipeds: ischium and merus indistinguishably fused in a single piece; palp three-articulated; dactylus styliform. Ambulatory legs not successively diminishing in length from P2 to P5.
