Genus Pseudactaea

Antero-lateral margins of the carapace forming a regular convexity or noticeably divided into three very large teeth, fused at their base and terminating in a short point. These margins always with nacreous edges, smooth or feebly corrugated by the underlying granules. Chelipeds and ambulatory legs with strong carinae. (Guinot 1998)

Type species: Lophactaea multicristata Zehntner, 1894.
