Carapace longer than broad, with two spines on the lateral borders. Exorbital spine distinct. Third maxilliped, especially merus, distinctly triangular in shape. P2-P4 gressorial. P5 subequal to preceeding but natatorial, with only the dactylus paddle-like. (Guinot 1998)
